5 Books I Want to Finish By The End Of The Year!

I cannot believe it’s November already. While it feels like this year has gone by so fast, I’m proud of myself because I’ve already met Goodreads goal of reading 25 books this year (I know, it’s small, but baby steps haha). Friend me on Goodreads here!

To go above and beyond, I thought I could stretch my goal and aim to hit 30 books by New Year’s Eve. Here are five books I want to finish by the end of the year!

The Graham Effect by Elle Kennedy

I am so excited to read this new release by Elle Kennedy! I love Garrett and Hannah and I am super excited to see the glimpses of them that are in this novel. I’m also a huge sucker for hockey players so I already know that this book will be a five-star read for me and I cannot wait to finally get a chance to devour it.

All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata

After (mostly) loving From Lukov with Love, I am really looking forward to reading this second novel in her universe and hopefully spot the cameos of her other characters. I can’t wait to meet Tobias Rhodes and see how his story with Aurora unfolds. As a big outdoorsy person, I already know the setting of this book will be captivating and make me feel right at home.

The Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi

Technically this is more than one book, but whenever I read these books I tear through them so fast that I definitely think I can finish a couple in a short amount of time. I am currently on Defy Me and I know I could finish the last few books of the series easily if I just set my mind to it. The last book also ended on a cliffhanger and I’m desperate for a resolution.

The Long Game by Elena Armas

I’ve never read an Elena Armas book but what I’ve heard from literally everyone on BookTok and the other romance readers in my life, this book is a can’t miss along with her other books like The Spanish Love Deception and The American Roommate Experience. I have really high hopes that this book is going to be five stars and I hope I’m not disappointed.

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

This is another book that is totally hyped online that I haven’t had the time to sit down and read but really want it to. My sister read this book and had a lot to say about it, so I’m interested in reading it myself and forming my own opinions so I can join in on conversations about this book with other readers because it feels like everyone and their mother has read this book.

Are any of these books you plan to read any time soon? What are your reading goals for the end of the year? Drop me a comment or send me a message on Instagram, I would love to hear your thoughts.
