Main character Bridget von Asheburg is a princess to be reckoned with. Her humanitarian streak, clever ideas, and progress-driven leadership style have Aquarius written all over them and reading her point of view in the book was always so fascinating with her analytical thoughts and innovative plans.
One of the most popular books on BookTok (and arguably the best book in the Twisted series), Twisted Games is full of steamy moments, emotional turmoil, and romantic gestures that will have you swooning. I love diving into Bridget and Rhys’ story following the evolution of their relationship from princess and bodyguard to something more.
Bridget has to be my favourite out of all the Twisted women because of her kindness and dedication to doing what’s right even if it isn’t what she wants. She had so many admirable qualities that made her story compelling with drama that felt so much more real than the previous book.
Her air sign qualities are perfectly grounded by the grounded Capricorn Rhys Larsen. Both signs are very independent which led to many moments where they were separated when all I wanted was for them to just get together already. This forbidden romance was truly a slow burn, but that made the book all the more enthralling.
