My Summer Reading Log (+ free downloadable printout)

Since I started going to the library regularly as a child, I have always looked forward to the summer reading challenge. Summers were always my favourite because I could dedicate all my time to reading and these programs rewarded my voracious appetite for more stories.

This year, my local library’s summer reading log came with really small squares. Understandably, they’re made with children in mind and rather than each square representing a book the way it used to when I was a kid, each square can easily be filled with only twenty minutes of reading.

But I wanted more of a challenge. So with my handy dandy Apple Pencil and some procreate, my summer reading log was born. There are two different versions of it depending on your summer reading goals. One log has ten spaces and the other has twenty so you can choose your own adventure.

Try also challenging a friend, family member, child, or coworker to fill out the summer reading log with you!
